Are You Ready for Graduation!

High School Graduation Checklist:

Graduation is a few months away, do you have the frame ready for your diploma?  We understand that this is a very exciting and overwhelming time for any highs school student.  There is so much to do that sometimes things can get lost in the shuffle.  Here are some hints to help you organize your self and have the best graduation ever!

1 Year Before Graduation

1. Take SAT exams:  Prepare for the exams, take the prep classes.
2. Apply to potential schools: Each individual schools have their own time requirements to start the application process, its best to start early.
3. Meet with your guidance counselor and go over every application packet done before sending it out.

6 Months Before Graduation

1. Schedule visits to potential schools.
2. Apply for Graduation:  make sure your application is readable because they will send those out to have the diplomas printed and this is the information they will use.

3-4 Months Before Graduation

1. Order cap and gown.
2. Order class ring and announcements.
3. Schedule graduation photos

2-6 Weeks Before Graduation

1. Pick up cap, gown, tassel, and invitation.
2. Complete all academic requirements to graduate:
3. Send out all of the invitations.
4. Start Party Planning:  schedule venue, music/entertainment, order food, photographer. get decorations.

1 Day Before the BIG Day!

Prepare a Graduation Checklist to make sure you are and everyone in your party are ready to attend the ceremony:

1. Appropriate clothing under the cap and gown.
2. Cap, gown, tassel, ring.
3. Name card
4. Graduation Ceremony Tickets
5. Directions and Schedule of Events

After Graduation!
